Gifted a snare drum at six years old and a full drum kit a year later, Michael has over 20 years of experience behind the drums. He has played in numerous bands and recorded several albums, some of which are listed on the ‘Previous Work’ page.
He holds a BA Hons in Popular Music and a Masters in Ethnomusicology. He passed his Grade 8 in drums with distinction, and has taught privately for over five years.
Michael currently lives and works in London as a professional drummer, and has a home studio. His band Picture Parlour are on tour in Europe supporting The Pixies, The Kills, and playing numerous festivals. Michael is available for recording and live performances, music production, and drum tuition.
